Overview
Phillips Law Firm, Inc. has represented dozens of Fortune 500 companies, as well as scores of small and medium size businesses and individual clients. The business interests of clients whom the Firm has represented include education, medicine and medical research, engineering, construction, sports equipment, real estate development, sales and management, hazardous and infectious waste control, manufacturing, petroleum, chemicals, coal, utilities, marketing, trucking and agriculture, just to name a few.

In addition to our business and corporate practice, we counsel and represent real people on a wide variety of legal problems. We handle all types of matters where people are hurt or killed, including automobile accidents, plane crashes, explosions, product failures, and more. We prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney and provide advice on other estate planning and financial issues. We are frequently called in to determine if bankruptcy is the appropriate solution. When a doctor or lawyer commits an error that leads to injury or damages we work with our clients to reach a satisfactory solution through negotiation or trial. We frequently assist in adoptions and other family law matters. We have experience in virtually any type of simple and complex personal legal matter.

Legal fees and expenses are always discussed up front in the very first meeting. Some matters, such as personal injury claims, may be handled on a “contingency” fee basis, where our fee is a percentage of the recovery. Other matters are typically handled on an hourly basis. We have also had occasion, when the need arises, to work out creative fee arrangements that allow the client to secure our services with the knowledge that no “sticker shock” will develop. Fees can also be charged to most major charge cards.
