WE CAN STILL SERVE YOUR LEGAL NEEDS DURING THE COVID-19 STAY AT HOME ORDER

The Governor of Ohio issued a Stay at Home Order affecting everyone in Ohio. Many businesses were ordered to close, while essential services were asked to continue operating. The Governor would like legal services to operate. In compliance with the Governor’s request, Phillips Law Firm, Inc. is continuing to provide legal services to the public.

Ultimately, we have to be selfless to service our clients’ legal needs, and practical in keeping everyone safe. We have implemented several ways to serve you while social distancing to keep everyone safe. We are utilizing the following ways to work through this difficult time with our clients.

1. Telephone appointments to discuss your legal needs
2. Email discussions to exchange information or transmit small documents
3. Dropbox when needed to exchange large documents, high resolution photos, or videos
4. Video conferencing with computers for “face to face” discussions
5. Facetime with clients if a computer is not your preference
6. Texting with clients for quick questions or to avoid being overheard when needed

If we must meet face to face, be assured that we have taken appropriate measures in our office to protect you. We have Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer available throughout our office for everyone’s convenience. We check our temperatures daily, and before meeting with us we will take the temperature of every guest using a touchless thermometer, and if you have a fever, other arrangements will be made. If requested, we have nitrile gloves available.

If you have significant symptoms for COVID-19 requiring self-quarantine, we must insist that you use one of the above contact methods to discuss your legal needs with us. Significant symptoms of COVID-19 include:

• Shortness of breath
• Fever/chills
• Cough
• Fatigue
• Chest Pressure
• Headaches
• Body Aches
• Sore Throat

These symptoms do not guarantee that an individual has COVID-19, nor does a lack of these symptoms guarantee that you do not have COVID-19. The only way to know if you have COVID-19 is to be tested.

Your safety is our first concern; your legal needs are a close second. When you need us, call us, or use the form below to contact us, and we will be in contact with you, one way or another.
