Our principles make us different. We developed our principles to remind us what is important in the law. Our principles have been on our letterhead for 25 years, since we started in business. Not everyone sees our principles, but everyone benefits from their existence. Our clients benefit most.

HONESTY – We make our clients successful by being honest. – We tell the clients what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear. We honestly evaluate our client’s legal problems. If a solution exists, we find it. If a case can be won, we win it. We will not waste our clients’ money by advancing a legal theory that we know is not winnable. We are honest, because our clients and our respect of the legal system deserve the truth.
DIGNITY – We solve our clients’ problems. – We treat our clients with value, honor and respect. Every client is our most important client. We will protect and fight for our clients within the bounds of the law. We will not engage in unethical conduct. No client ever benefitted from unethical behavior. Like our clients, we are in business for the long term, where there is no room for undignified behavior.
EQUALITY – We work with our clients as part of a team. – We listen to the client. We take the time to hear our clients’ stories, whether it be a business matter, the death of a loved one, money problems, family problems, or planning an estate. Together, we develop a strategy. We keep clients informed of our progress, and when it happens, we deliver bad news to our clients. We talk to our clients as our equals, and we use terms that the client understands, not legal jargon. If we must use legal terms, we take the time to explain the terms to our clients. With our clients as our partner, we find solutions.
JUSTICE – We seek justice for our clients. – We help our clients find justice. We understand that justice is the result of a search for facts to support the truth, through the guidance of the law. We develop the facts and the law needed to make our clients’ cases winnable. We are responsible for our clients. Our clients rely upon us to make their businesses successful, to protect their families, and to litigate when necessary to protect either. We are not afraid to go to trial, and we embrace the challenge.
